Well, I finally managed to obtain the CD single for this song. Damn, if the song doesn't bring a lot of memories. I can't believe that it's been more than a month since I last hear this song playing as the ending theme of Honey and Clover. Thanks to a friend, I also finally managed to get a hold of the PV. This sure is one of the weirder PVs I've seen in a while. It doesn't help that the girl in the PV looks as if she'd rather be elsewhere than in the PV. Oh well, at least it includes the not-so-subtle Ferris Wheel imagery that has become so synonymous with the series.
Honey and Clover 1st ED Theme
Performed by Suneohair
Kanji/Kana version

Who actually likes the new ED? Like, really?
I MUCH prefer Waltz over Mistake. It fits with the rest of the music in Honey & Clover, compared to Mistake which has a more rock-ish feel, which doesn't fit in with the rest of the sort of 'mellow-rock' music.
You're lucky, I've been trying to get that PV for a while now.
i like it, i cant help but sing along to it when watching it. I especially like the guy's soft voice contrasting w/ the rock beat
I really liked Waltz. I personally think the atmosphere Waltz is able to create is more fitting for Honey and Clover. I hope they include the piano instrumental in the OST, it's really beautiful. Mistake has good lyrics but the rockish feel disrupts the mood at the end of the episodes. I always watched the ending in the first 13 episodes but now I skip it because I don't like the song.
I made a comment about my distaste for the new ending song on a previous post (Honey & Clover ep 16) so I'll keep it short. I don't "hate" the new ending, but I don' feel it fits at all. I wish they kept Waltz. I miss it, it fits, it's perfect. Why did the have to change it?! WHY?!
I must say that the new ending song didn't feel so out of place during the recent episodes as they ended with a big WTF which suits the song.
I actually really like mistake.. especially the part where they start singing much softer ( atama kakaete.. yume dato omoi konde mo... ) :D
but of course WALTZ rocks too
I agree that "Waltz" is a far more attractive and fitting song for the series than "Mistake" since it's has a certain sentimentality to it that's congrueous with the series.
i love this song!
can someone translate it in english for me please? thank you!
hey!!! i've seen what i'm looking for... no need to e-mail me... i really love this song... THANK YOU!!! Garten... your my hero
Ah, I love "Waltz" ! I miss singing along to it too, but I must say I love "Split" from Honey & Clover II even a bit more, as it has this certain energy and dramatic that gives me goosebumps every so often.
Well, if anybodies' interested - Here's me singing Waltz, ED-length though: http://rapidshare.de/files/34984409/B.Rancourt_-_Waltz.mp3.html
(Hope that isn't rated as spam right away @_@ It's related after all)
Waltz was nice. :) It was like, "It hurts, but I'll keep going strongly for that new, and better tomorrow, but I've come to learn only I myself can bring that. Therefore, I shall support myself with these two legs that guide me, and walk forward, until I can find the light to over power the bleak darkness of today. (Wait! Is that a Takemoto reflection?! D: Come back Waltz!!! Mistake was a mistake!!)"
...I need to lay off the fanfiction. Sometimes I talk really weirdly. >.>
It'll be nice if this PV be (re)uploaded... : )
I luvvvvvvvvvvvv Waltz. How awesome is the MV! Altho' it's quite old now i stilllllll love it. It's a fast song but the theme of the MV was quite romantic. He was willing to sacrifice heaven full of girls just to go back being alive in search for that 1 girl who they hint as if they're meant to be. It's so romantic... .
