Well, here's the 8th Tsubasa hard cover manga scans. I'm sorry for taking this long to scan the image but I haven't had access to scanner for a while. As usual, CLAMP seems to maintain their high quality drawings. Kurogane and Fye are especially hillarious in this particular scene. I'm not even sure what those animals are since I haven't got the time to properly read the book but they sure look like a riot. Kurogane sure isn't happy about being glomped. :D The volume also featured an alternate universe version of X character, Karen. The cover this time features King Touya. The extras are pretty slim this time around with only one thin postcard featuring Shaoran included inside the book. This actually made me pause for a second or two when I first got the book. I actually wonder why I've been buying the hardcover since the extras usually are really not that great. I guess at this point in time I'm doing it simply to complete the collection.
I am actually rather surprised when I realised that this series has reached its 9th volume. CLAMP seems to write this at a breakneck speed in comparison to something like X or Clover. To top it, off, there doesn't seem to be an ending in sight just yet. True enough, if CLAMP wants it, I guess they can make this a never-ending adventure. But with the anime coming soon this April, I really hope that they'll end the manga before the anime reaches its completion. I dread the idea that this series may end up like X where the anime has to come up with its own ending simply because there is no ending available yet in the manga. Admittedly, the series' parallel world nature is a good platform to give each incarnation of the series a different ending. The problem is, more often than not, CLAMP is not very involved with the anime script and as a result, the ending usually left little to be desired.
As usual, please don't link straight to these images from other sites/forums. If you are interested to purchase this volume, here are some details of the 7th Hardcover Edition:
ISBN: 4-06-364606-8
Price: 1200 Yen ($11.32 US Dollars)
Ahhh....I want X to be finished already, well I really hope that the appearance of the X characters in Tsubasa is somehow connected to the X story (although i doubt it) because it would be a real shame that they started Tsubasa and just teased us a bit with all the X characters:( In any case I guess I should not complain as I do get to see the X characters in Tsubasa. Well on this note the cover of Toya is really nice. Thanks for the Tsubasa updates just so you know they are truly appreciated.
I appreciate the time you take to scan images onto the site and bringing information to people who don't know what's going on or what not :) I'd like to know where you buy your Tsubasa manga, if you'd like to tell me anyway :D
I got mine mostly from Amazon Japan (www.amazon.co.jp)
Ditto on what Melasonde said. Maybe there is a connection between the X cameos to the fate the characters in X. After all, Sorata and Arashi do mention they're indebted to Yuuko.
PS Your site is one of the best I've seen online. Keep it up!
I love the j-music sountrack that belong to famous anime, please mail me

i got a small question, what happened at the end? does Syaoran and Sakura reunite? or they saperated? or Sakura finally revived her memory? does Sakura have seen Syaoran's mother? or they married?
the question swim in my head, and i went to see the anime, and manga, but they seemed to stop (or maybe haven't been uploaded) at the part where Syaoran walked to somewhere, and that's the end. PLS tell me!
