Wow. The domain transfer went faster than I thought it'll be. I thought it'll take at least 2 days. But it seems it only took around 2 hours. So this blog is now running on a new server. I think it went pretty well except for some mangled comments here and there and one weird effect that happens everytime I create a new entry. So far things seem to be okay though. You can comment again if you wish to do so.
Major thanks goes to David for giving me a lot of help with the whole process. Without him, who knows what will happen with this attempt. I'll also recommend everyone else who is planning to move server to check out this site if you want bit by bit instructions.
Glad your transfer went smoothly! So did you eventually use the import/export feature to transfer your data?
Yes, I did. It's pretty simple but the result is not always what you expected though.
