Thank You

June 5, 2008 | 21 Comments

I didn't have the chance to say this before but thank you for all the kind messages, guys. I really appreciate it. The whole thing feels so weird and surreal now that the funeral/cremation is over. It kind of forces me to think about life and the future, two things which I haven't given much thought since I've been too afraid of making any major decision. Anyway, thank you again for the kind words. I'll try to catch up with the entries next week but it's good to know that MT is doing an okay job with the pre-scheduled posts.

Hang in there. Sometimes we get so lost simply existing that we forget truly important things. Losing someone close is not the best wake-up call, but it is a reminder to review and refocus. Stay cool.

Hey Garten...I'm so out of touch with the anime blogosphere that I haven't paying attention... Lost in my own world, I suppose. I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your father. It's never easy to lose someone dear to you. My deepest condolences, and I hope you'll have better days ahead.

Hi Garten

I am so sorry for your loss. I have only just stumbled into this and saw the news.

I am a big reader of your blog. I am interested in anime, but do not have enough exposure to feel confident enough about offering an opinion.

I always come here when i finish a series to see what you are up to and what you recommend for the up coming seasons.

Thank you for all your hard work. I dont want to sound cliche without knowing the circumstances of your father's passing, but tomorrow will always be brighter.

With regards to making major decisions, disappointment is the best teacher. you can never suceed without failure. Look at China now after the diaster of the Cultural Revolution and Japan after Hiroshima.

Keep your chin up and know that everyone here will be wishing all the best.
