at first i saw the white piano in my heart says "wow!!! so beautiful" but when the black paint was fall down "OMG!!! it was so dirty"

I definately agree that they rely more on their piano skills than singing.

As for the piano, if even the hammers and strings were white, then it was a pretty extensive prop piece. Most pianos only have the outer casing done in black and the inside is the color of the wood. With the strings painted white, I doubt the sound quality would be very good.

After splashing paint all over the dampers, they'd need to be replaced in order for the instrument to be played again. I think it's safe to say that this piano is no longer a working instrument. Probably just an interesting prop now.

I wonder if they managed to do this all in one take. If they had to do more than one, they'd need a whole new piano since it would be almost impossible to get the first one clean.

I liked the shot where they dropped the white metronome into the paint. It would have been nice if they had dropped some other objects in as well.

Ever since I heard this opening I went scrounging for his music and it's great stuff. I also hear the single comes out the 22nd but hey, the earlier the better.

I can see why this is the first time you heard them since they've debuted last year with its first real single.

I'm a guy who is very into any type of music and this is no exception. As a former piano player, it's good to see songs make full use of that wonderful instrument.

I actually look forward to hearing their other singles/albums in the future.

Thanks for posting it. I didn't like the song very much, at first as I was hoping for a more classical sounding piece, but it grew on me quickly and now it's one of my favorite OPs. It really reminds me of Ben Folds (well, maybe a bit lighter than that--maybe more like Keane)...and as a pianist I always appreciate it when pianos/keyboards take center stage. :)

I like this OP. I think it fits the mood of the anime well. The pace and vocals in this song remind me of the Paranoia Agent OP theme a bit.

I was excited when I heard Suemitsu & the Suemith was doing the OP. :D To me, it sounded like the perfect fit. If you haven't already, check out Irony (the Japanese version). In my opinion, it's even better than this song.

This song reminds me of a Mentos commercial. Their song Irony (also on Youtube) is MUCH better.

After watching this PV, I'm actually beginning to like this song. The black paint adds a nice, bold touch and the singing/piano playing are both well done. ^_^

I actually like the guy`s voice - it works. I`m definitely going to look for suemitsu`s other songs.

Just to anyone who doesn't know: Suemitsu & The Suemith is just one guy. It's not a big deal, but I've been seeing a lot of comments referring to him as "they." I admit the name is very misleading. XP
