Well, this episode is not as funny as the last two episodes but it still has some laugh out moments. The limitation of the animation also starts to become a bit noticeable in this episode. There are instances where the voice acting sounds really good but unfortunately it's not matched with an equally good animation. For example, there is a scene where Matsumoto-Sensei screams in shock when Mika-Sensei ends up drowning in a pool. The delivery of the Japanese voice actress is spot-on hilarious. Unfortunately, the expression on Matsumoto-Sensei's face is not as funny as the way the way the voice sounds. As a result, what could have been a really funny scene is somewhat neutered due to the limited animation. Having said that, this is still an entertaining series and I'm glad to see that it continues on providing theme-based storylines as opposed to presenting random scenes that are thrown together into one episode.

The episode itself is divided into two light themes just like the second episode. The first theme is mostly about the start of the Spring class and the going-ons at the swimming class. The episode begins with Seki showing up in girls uniform much to the shock of the girls in his class. Kobayashi is particularly embarrassed because she feels that Seki has a smoother leg than she does, which pleases Seki to no end. Kobayashi is also stressed out because the swimming class will begin soon. She thinks that she'll have more confidence if she can pick the swimsuit that she can wear in the swimming class. The other students then start suggesting the sort of swimwear that the girls can wear. Much to her distress, however, Kitagawa tells Mika-Sensei that she'll look cute in kid's swimwear with her hair tied in buns.
Kobayashi, however, is disappointed when at the end of the day, she simply ends up wearing the official school swimwear. She thinks the swimwear is unflattering because it makes everyone looks the same. Tominaga, however, tells her that on the contrary, the similar swimwear makes it obvious as to who has the better figure. She thinks that when one compares Kobayashi with Kitagawa side by side, the school's swimwear will make it obvious that Kitagawa has a better figure. LOL....I mean, Poor Kobayashi. The story gets even funnier when Mika-Sensei and Matsumoto-Sensei end up taking control of the swimming class because the swimming teacher is absent. Some of the highlights include: Kitagawa wanting to see Mika-Sensei in kid's swimwear and the reaction of Matsumoto-Sensei to Suetake and Seki's comments about her body.

The second theme revolves around the spring exam that the students have to undertake. Mika-Sensei tries her hardest to encourage her students to study hard so that they'll get good marks....and so that she won't have to spend her summer teaching the failed students. At the same time, Kudo is busy tutoring Suetake. Suetake, of course wonders why Kudo is so kind to him. Kudo wants to tell Suetake the real reason but at the last minute lost the nerve to do so and simply tells Suetake that the reason is because Suetake is stupid and needs help. Although Suetake is not offended in the slightest, the girls in the class know very well that Kudo lost his nerve to tell Suetake the real reason behind his 'kindness' and decide to have a good laugh at Kudo's expense.
During the exam time, everyone looks so serious in the class, although when you look at their test paper up close, no one seems to be doing well in it. Watabe actually uses his exam and answer papers to draw manga in it while Kobayashi tries to guess the answer to the questions in the test. Kitagawa spends her time writing about Mika-Sensei in her test paper and Kudo is busy starring at Suetake. Not surprisingly, Mika-Sensei is oblivious to all of these. She even falls asleep in the exam room, dreaming that her students perform well in the exam. In reality, almost everyone failed the exam. Kitagawa actually purposely failed the exam because she likes the idea of spending summer with Mika-Sensei. Kudo does similar thing because he thinks Suetake is going to fail the exam. Much to his surprise, Suetake does a fine job at his exam and passed the test. The episode ends with the failed students taking additional subject at the Summer school.
