Little Big Planet Gameplay (Quicktime, Game Trailers)
Enviromental creation (Quicktime, Game Trailers)

I don't usually go out of my way to promote games but this one is so cute and looks really fun to play. Little Big Planet is basically a 1-4 player platformer. You can make the platform yourself or use the one that others have posted online. You can even do a co-op platform making with your friends at home. It looks really fun to play and the basic character that you get, SackBoy, is the cutest thing I've ever seen lately. The gameplay also looks kind of fun and seems to rely on co-operation of other players although I've heard you can play as a single player as well. The graphic is impressive with good-looking textures. Although Home was equally impressive, I think this game is the highlight of this year's Game Developer's Conference.

That looks pretty cool. You don't really see that many good platformers now-a-days, especially multiplayer ones. I'm glad to see that the PS3 will be getting more quality games, it's been a rough launch for Sony in my opinion.

I wish I could have gone to GDC this year... but as a student, who didn't get in as a volunteer, the chances of getting to go for the whole week is pretty slim. But, I guess there's always next year :3

omg this game is soooo cute!! are there more clips for this game? is there an official website for this game?

I am not sure if there is a website for it yet. But here's another trailer: Sharing promo. It basically shows how you can upload your level creation and shares it with others (so they can play it) and vote for its awesomeness.

Wow, I never noticed how real the graphics look on the PS3. An anomaly or am I just really slow?

How would you call SackBoy if he went "nuts"? *snicker*

That's great! It's an adorable game and I'm glad the PS3 will allow more players. Playing "Tales of the Abyss" on the PS2 with only one other person was no fun [plus lag....ew].

So far most PS3 games tend to look good. The only exceptions are those crappy ports from EA and some 3rd parties. But if the game was built from the ground up for the console, it usually looks that good.

oh yeah how is lag on the ps3? anyone know?

Amazing.

There is some very serious rendering going on there, despite the child-like nature of the gameplay.

I have been waiting for the first engine to deliver that 'Toy-Story' realism to 3D objects, and then this appears.

Quite the oddest way for Sony to get saved at the eleventh hour.

Heehee... this is definitely a console seller for me, and I've even heard people start saying that they're more hyped about this game than Halo 3!

I can't wait... it's sad that it'll be released so late from now, but I guess that gives me time to make some money and find one of the darn consoles. =3

I'm so glad it's Spring Break... *hires herself out to work*

I really ought to make a sign using the four sacklets on the skateboard, with the caption, "Give me money, or they go off the cliff!!"
