Ouch, what happened? Can you please take a screenshot of the problem if possible? And on which platform (ie. IE6 on PC). I know the database is f*cked up. I don't know what I did but I think I managed to replicate the wonkiness (assuming it's the same thing). In what I saw the content disappeared and some strange codes appeared on the right hand side. I assume it's database related because when I refreshed it, it looks okay again.

I personally find Nightmare to be extremely overrated and I do not like this type of Jrock but considering how it was used in the Death Note anime, I have taken a slight liking to it.

But not much.

For once an anime actually doesn't have some craptastic whiny rap music for its closing song. As for the opening, while I'd rather have Mana do it, this is much better than that stuff that Jam Project and other lackluster J-Pop bands puke out with every series.

Frankly, I wish that the composer for the series' BGM would be the same person to do the opening and ending songs, that way, it will fit right (like Yuki Kajura and Yoko Kanno usually do).

As much as I am a fan of Nightmare, I still kind of wish they hadn't done the OP and ED for Death Note. I know that sounds odd being I do listen to them and like their music, however, it wasn't the OP and ED I had imagined at all for Death Note.

I still like the song though.

the layout looks ok now. before the header was an odd pattern of characters and then the body of the blog was one of your screencaps. and the other screencaps were in incorrect places.

I think the lyrics for song seems like it was written just for Death Note. The song is just right for Death Note. However, it would rock if Mana did make the OP for the anime. The vocalist for Nightmare had a bad stage presence. He was basically swinging his shoulders in front of the camera while singing during the music video. I mean, is he usually like that?

Nightmare is perfect for Death Note opening song coz the words Nightmare and Death Note and the song itself synergies with each other.

yeah, the song is awesome. they take parts out when they translate it on the anime, but thats ok....it really does flow with the series. for all of you that are into death note, read the manga too, because its a lot better. i guess there more than one translatrion of this song, but theres a different one than the one Atashi wrote thats slightly better.....oh well

I think that more than "broken savior" would fit "Fallen Messiah" maybe it is not the 100% correct translation but in my opinion it reflects a little more the genre of the song and it suits better with death note :P

I'm currently addicted to this song. As soon as I heard it, I was hooked. I heard about Nightmare a while ago and have been wanting to check out their music. This was the easiest song to find (probably because of Death Note). The way the lyrics fit Death Note so well makes me wonder if this song was written for Death Note. All the signs point that way. Does anyone know?
It would have been awesome if Mana had done the music for Death Note (op, ed, bg). But somehow I can't imagine Mana doing music for an anime ^^". (Death Note could have been an exception)
