I didn't realise that this episode was already out a long time ago. There are just too many anime to keep up lately and I haven't got the time to see them all. Anyway, I'll advise everyone to watch this episode themselves before reading this review. I think it's better if you watch this episode unspoiled because the last few minutes in this episode is pure thriller that must be experienced first-hand, without prior knowledge of the story. So, if you do decide to read the rest of the paragraph, please be aware that you're going to spoil some of the best moments in this series for yourself.

The episode opens with Dr.Reichwen looking gloomy during Richard's funeral ceremony. He laments to Dr.Gillen, who has also come to the funeral, about the fact that in the end he failed to help Richard. Dr.Gillen, however, asks Reichwen not to blame himself especially since Richard's death looks quite suspicious in its nature. Reichwen can't help but feeling depressed about it though. As a result, he often ignores his new patient, a woman who claims that her husband has been behaving strangely ever since she found out about his affair. Eventually, Reichwen decides to do his own investigation regarding Richard's death and finds out that the bottle that was found the night of Richard's death is not the sort of alcohol that Richard normally consumes. He soon, however, realises that his investigation also puts his life in danger. While waiting for a train on a subway, someone is seen trying to push Reichwen onto the oncoming train.

Reichwen, however, immediately notices this and gives the person a chase. Unfortunately, when Reichwen manages to catch up with the person, the thug's friends come out. They then proceed to beat Reichwen and tell him that a grandfather like him should stay at home, minding grandchildren. Reichwen, however, shows that he's no ordinary grandfather and gives a rather nice comeback at the thugs. He then finds out that the thugs are hired by a big hulking man, whose identity is not known to any of them. When Reichwen agrees to meet the husband of his female patient, however, he soon finds out that the husband is none other than Roberto, the exact man who hired the thugs. Roberto admits that he's working for a blonde-haired teen and he's there to finish his job. Due to his initiative, however, Reichwen manages to escape through the fire stair and on his way is saved by Dr.Tenma.

Impression:

Damn. Why did this episode have to end on that point? I have to admit though, that is one fine cliffhanger. I thought for sure that Reichwen is going to get it. But that old man turns out to be one tough nut to crack. Anyway, I have a couple of questions upon watching the episode. For one, I want to know if the woman who claims to be Roberto's wife is really his wife or just another person he's hired to keep an eye on Reichwen. Also, am I the only one who thought that Roberto have a MPD? I thought he looks kind of normal at first until he talks about how his life changed after he met Johan. At the moment, however, I'll assume that he was just putting a show for Reichwen. The best thing about this episode, however, is the appearance of Tenma at the end of the episode. I know he's already shown halfway through the episode but I forgot completely about him to the point that I didn't expect him to show up to save Reichwen.

Nah...not really MPD nor a show. I think roberto is only speaking out what is on his mind. After all, reichwen is the best person to talk to since he's the doctor and going to be a dead man real soon....except things don't go as smoothly as he thought.

As for Roberto wife, I believe it is more of a subordinate than a wife.
