Memento: Blog on Anime, Manga, Games, and Japanese pop culture

Missing in Action

As you can probably see, this blog has been lacking updates these last couple of days. It's not because I'm bored of it or anything like that but because I'm actually overseas at the moment and finding it hard to find a decent internet connection. Because of this, until I come back on March the 15th, you probably won't find much updates besides one or two episode reviews. Anyway, since I already spent a good amount of money to pay for the internet cafe here, I may as well point a couple of people to things that they were looking for when they stumbled onto this blog.

Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle

You guys probably know that I don't do summaries for this series because the manga appears far too often on the weekly shounen magazine for my sensible wallet. So the only thing I can offer here is the scans of the color pages when the special edition version comes out. But if you want some scans of the manga, I'm sure there are many places you can google yourself.

Takashi Tsukamoto, Sousuke Takaoka, Yukari Kanasawa, battle royale screenshots, and other BR keyphrases

What a relief. I thought I was the only one who's obssessed about this film. Knowing that there are so many of you who type these BR-related keywords make me feel better :P. Well, for Takashi Tsukamoto, did you know that he's actually a singer as well and has his own website? So check that one out if you're interested. He's also about to release a new film called 'Robokonrobottoko ntesuto' although I personally will prefer to check out his earlier and, I've heard, a much better film called 'Aoi Haru'.

E.S. Posthumus

I'm sorry but I'm as clueless as to what these guys are doing next. I can't wait until their next album is released but so far I've seen no news or announcement about it. The only thing I saw on their website is an extract of their NFL on NBS theme called the Posthumus Theme. I think the best way to keep updated about them is to subscribe to their mailing list. I'm curious though, did my little entry on this indie band actually managed to create a few converts? If that's the case I'm glad because I think they deserve to be notice by more music fans.
