I fully realized that this has nothing to do with anime and it's not even a Japanese pop. However, this song has been on the back of my mind for the last month. It started when I was trying to write my research proposal and decided to turn on the TV as some kind of background noise. It was then that the song was playing and I've been hooked ever since. It's been a while since I like a non JPop music this obsessively so I figured it deserves a mention on the blog. I've actually never heard Maroon 5 prior to Makes Me Wonder so I was pleasantly surprised by this song. It has that cool, jazzy style to it. The PV helps to accentuate the song's cool factor by associating sexiness with airport, airplane, and stewardess. I never thought that I could associate airport with sexiness prior to this PV.

Funny thing, I was watching this clip on [V]^2 a few hours earlier! This song has much more depth compared to the songs they released on their 'Songs About Jane' album a couple of years ago.

Seriously though, I don't particularly take a fancy to Western music either but I'm pretty sure Maroon 5 have been pretty big.

I was more surprised at the "I never thought that I could associate airport with sexiness" line :P Mile High Club, stewardress, pilots, uniform, yada yada..

Anyway, lets see what Maroon 5 pulls out next from the album. They generally release some good singles but getting the album ends up in disappointment.

Im not a huge Maroon 5 fan, but i have heard some singles from their last cd and recently i was listening to their new cd (my friend had) and i like it, but maybe its b/c im a r&b/soul kind of person. *shrug* but I do notice the differnece in styles from their past songs and im not surprised they switched it up. The lead singer was in kanye west song (um forgot the name but it has that line: but be honessssssst babe, something....something, the only way? lol) uh yea he sung that part lol. but the cd is okay, for the true fans it will need alittle adjusting to probaly.

However, I must say this PV is a little disappointing. The song is so dynamic, but the clip consists of the band members standing around jamming.

And he looks so much older then the last clip i saw, And She Will Be Loved. He looked so much 'rougher' then.

I love Maroon 5!! they're songs aren't as good as they're use to be. Sadly i don't have alot of their songs O_O i'm sure you probably have heard their songs before. "This Love" is pretty popular song of theirs. western music isn't bad, you just gotta dig around to find the good stuff
