I can't wait for the release of FFXIII Versus! That guy seems to be too cool...

I hate Nomura's character designs like you wouldn't believe. But I do hope these games play like the trailers suggest.

Seriously though, these both look really cool. Versus brings out more of the fangirl in me, but XIII looks awesome as well.

... Am I the only one that doesn't liked =P? Aaaa well, Final Fantasy XII wasn't good and this one seems that it won't be good either. Good old times of Final Fantasy VII, VIII and X.

VIII as part of the good old times? Hardly. X was good until they introduced X-2 which killed the whole X series in general.

Obviously, the trailer looks great. Until we actually see some gameplay, all it is doing is blowing smoke.

Only time will tell.....

I'm really looking forward to Versus. I actually like Nomura's character designs, but I hate the turn-based playing, so I never got into FF. But apparently Versus is action-oriented, like KH, so it might be worth the investment after all. *is excited*

i also like XIII versus, its the most interesting looking with the dark theme and the way that guy attacked was pretty awesome lol.

FFIII is good looking too, but if the gameplay was like in the trailer, then sign me up! im ready to play it right now. :)

Honestly, Versus does look a lot more interesting, just because I'm into the gothic feel and the pretty boy. Haha.
And Lightning is her codename in the game, it's been released that she has amnesia, so she can't remember her real name.
Still no name for the guy in Versus though, but I'm sure there are some interesting nicknames floating around the web.

Can't people stop criticizing all the games? Each one has their own fanbase, and their own great points. I say we all just deal with that and keep playing the ones that we love.

these are the ps premier trailers really just the extended version of the first trailers that mostly every has seen.
But Really makes people wonders how it's going to look like (since these trailers aren't really using the playstation 3 graphics yet, and their white engine isn't complete yet too...

It wasn't the lack of emo kids (which even then, they weren't that emo to begin with) that turned alot of FF fans away from FF12, it was the lack of story (which was usually the core of a FF game, up until now anyway before squareenix went style over substance).

I appreciate the new battle system idea, but the license board system was so bad you basically used the characters you liked based on their looks (aka all female team. come on you gotta admit that lol). Yes i admit the junction system in FF8 was crap too, and in FF7 you can give all the characters the same skills (but atleast that's only true if you spend a hell of a time leveling the materia and equipment actually impacted how you set up your characters)

FF9 was medieval. The story may not be godly but it deserves the FF title. Plus the game actually has a working class system like FFX, which makes it better.

And FF7 may be over hyped to you now, but it absolutely deserved it back in its day. In all honestly, the original pacman is like a piece of crap now, but it was considered the godly of its time. A little food for thought i suppose.

Thnx for the updates !! .. Hopefully SQURE ENIX .. will prepare some nice updates for the New Year !! .. at least they should give us some character names' to refer to while dicussing XD ..

I totally agree with the saying " Versus is better than FF13 Original" .. it has that special Aura we felt watching FF Advent Children movie .. it was a mass success.. and since they will be following the same path .. Must mention.. The main character is a MALE .. note that the previous series had a FEMALE for their main characters .. and keep in mind .. the Prince of versus FF13 .. resmbels Cloud of FF7 .. can't wait to play it ..

To the people who said FF7/8/10 sucked compared to FF12..

Just so you know, if it wasn't for the success of the earlier titles, there wouldn't BE an FF12 >:[

Personally, I love it. It's my second favourite game, and it had a strong female lead with a story about vengeance and one of the best in-game worlds (Ivalice).

Whatever. It was the only FF title to get a perfect score in Famitsu.

Well, I'm looking forward to XIII; I'm gonna have to start saving up the cash for that PS3 now, I suppose.

Though I heard the release date's gonna be on the 15th of December 2008.. I doubt it though..

but anyway, I couldn't really adapt myself to liking FFXII, though that doesn't mean I totally hated it..

personally, i love ff12!! i love the medieval feeling it has.. i'm not a fan of Nomura character design as well.. another thing, i like the real time battle system.. its easier to spot enemies and thus easier to dodge them.. its useful in a way that i can plan what action i'm going to take when i spot the enemy from afar.. i also love the gambit system.. makes life easier.. although my cousin commented that whats the point of playing when everything's automatic? O_o

i'm not a particular fan of ff X-2.. i don't like the idea of going places to places to complete missions.. T_T

I don't care about FFIII. I'm more interested in FF verus XIII. Sorry ladies, I don't mean to insult any of you, but I absolutely can not stand to play as a female lead character. I hate it. I'm not sexest, but I don't think it's very cool to run around as a female. If you're a guy like me, you're going to think that it's very gay.

Don't you feel that that guy in grey hair has, like, a totally Sasuke-ish problem? Also, even the HAIRSTYLE is like Sasuke's...
