During the last few weeks of my Japanese trip this year, I kept hearing this song playing in several combini and department store. I didn't actually like the song right away but after a couple of repetition, I started to like it. I found out that the song is actually called A·i·shi·te·ru no Sign ~Watashitachi no Mirai Yosouzu~. Yeah, what a title. The fun thing is that this is a theme song for a film called Mirai Yosouzu ~A·i·shi·te·ru no Sign starring Matsushita Nao (Taiyou no Uta) and Takezai Terunosuke (Kamen Rider Blade). Personally, I don't think the two stars have much chemistry. It shows that simply putting two good-looking actors do not always produce chemistry. Moreover, the PV is extremely frothy. It's about a couple of people telling Matsushita's character how they usually express their love to their significant other. Oh well, the song is pretty good and while we're at it, I'll also recommend another song which comes in the same album called Mirai Yosouzu II ~VERSION '07~, to make things even more confusing.

ef is a boys-girls relationship anime that's, from what I've seen of the game preview and couple of episodes, actually NOT a harem. It's animated by SHAFT so you know to watch out for their weird ass style (but they did tone it down for this anime).

Watching it from the perspective of after playing the game, I think they cut out too much of the banter that made the game worth reading. Oh well, definitely worth trying out though.

Beowulf Lee: that weird, melodramatic style came as a bit of a shock to me and I found it a bit unnecessary, all SHAFT animes are like that?

Garten: it won't bother me if your genshiken2 review is a bit late since I'm behind as well, I also found your genshiken1 review interesting to read even though I didn't watch it as it came out, then again I can't speak 4 every1. Will you finish the 3rd genshiken OVA though?

Yes. The "postmodernist" (I don't know what else to call it) tones used in their other anime are much heavier. Take a look at their latest completed anime Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei. It's worth watching for the first two episodes. After that, it goes down hill faster than you can say "ah-wha...?" (Which seems typical of SHAFT unfortunately.)

'Ai shi teru no Sign' is okay as DCT songs go- although it is doing very well in the Japanese music charts, they have many better- it is meant to be the third installment of 'Mirai Yosouzu', showing the progression in the character's lives.

I actually like the video better than the song by itself, since it tells the story.
