Eureka 7 OP Theme
Performed by Flow

Note: I actually haven't watch Eureka 7 apart from the first episode. I am not sure I'm completely sold on its premise just yet. Having said that, I really like the opening theme for this show. This probably has a lot to do with the fact that I keep hearing the song everytime I go to the MiniStop here in Japan. I'm also quite surprised to see that the band responsible for this song is actually Flow, the same group that created Go!!!, one of the best Naruto opening themes. Right now, I'm really tempted to try other songs from this group and complete my conversion as Flow fanboy. If you like the song, the single will be out here in Japan on the first of June. Anyway, as usual, please let me know if you see any mistake and please note that this is the full version of the song not the TV size, so it is slightly different.

Kanji/Kana version

Melody Slow Dance

あの日交わした約束は砕けて散った
激しく儚い 記憶のカケラ
たとえ二人並んで見た夢から覚めても
この想い 忘れはしない ずっと
津億の 日々か照らす 今を

This song is really great... wow, Flow is the band? Never knew! I can't wait for the single to come out now.

Maybe I'll try to find their other songs too hehe^^;; Thanks very much for the lyrics.

I am totally in love with the OP as well. Never heard any of their other songs, but the OP is excellent. It just has a very very good effect on me.

It's a pity Eureka 7 itself doesnt seem to be faring as well. Oh well... I'm enjoying it; even if some of the scenario is cliched. It's a kid's show, what can I expect?..

Ditto what wao said -- the Eureka's OP is fantastic! I wish I could say the same for the male protagonist of the show, whom I despise T_T

I fell in love with the OP in first sight!
The style is very pop and although I really detest Pop this song is just great! And the video is matches totally! *sigh*

And the anime is sooooo cool! I can?t wait to see the 3rd Fansub episode.! ^^

Wow, I didn't make that connection. I love the guitar riff, and the OP looks great. As for Renton, he's pretty whiny, but I like his character design!

I personally am quite enjoying the anime myself, despite some of its cliched areas. I don't mind Renton's whininess at all, I think it's quite endearing - it's not annoying to me at all. The art/animation is great, too (to me). I personally like the art in this show much more than FMA's - the other 51-eps Bones show...

And this is offtopic, but Garten, when you next have time do post something about HOney and Clover, I'd like to see what you have to say about it after 5 eps have aired. I'm pleasantly surprised.

Just a small correction

Kasane tsudzuketeru genjou nakai yoru hitori shizukesa terasu

is actually

Kasane tsudzuketeru genjou nagai yoru hitori shizukesa wo terasu gaitou

It's a good song ^__^

I gave this show a chance. It's awesome. Now i'm hooked. I usually find when I have the feeling to give things a chance, they turn out well. I'm about 30 episodes in now. The music is pretty good in the show in general.

Hehe, Renton matures later on. ;p I thought him to whiny at first too. ^^

The best thing about this show is the development of characters and their relationship(s). Characters beyond the protagonist(s) are interesting too. Good story, nice story advancement. For me, this show is the best I have seen so far. ;-)

I love the theme song.
I knew the words by the second episode.
