This video was originally posted by someone on the comment area of episode 02 but since I wasn't sure if it's a good idea to post it or not, I withheld the comment. Well, now that it blew all over the internet, I suppose it's okay to show it. Basically, someone from the production company leaked the last quarter part of episode 3. The scene in question shows Lelouch using Shirley (again) to avoid his spies (which includes Rollo and Villetta). There is also a scene where Li is seen pointing his sword at a Black Knight members. The scene in question suggests Li is not happy at them so it's likely that he knows about what happened to Gaohai. Anyway, because of the leak, there's a rumor that there won't be episode aired next week as the staff scramble to change the scene in question. Updated: episosde 3 will air as usual with no alterations.

Wow. They're taking such drastic measure? Can't they just change the leaked part?

NOOOO. I want to see the next episode next week. That stupid person. This is the problem with outsourcing production to other countries.

LOL. So typical of Sunrise. Now what will happen? Does this mean we're going to get trashier version of R2? Just like when the same incident happened back in season 1?

It's probably a good thing that this happens. Now maybe we can get a much original story.

Changing the leaked part in any significant way is going to take some time and money, whatever they decide to do...hopefully they do not delay it or otherwise harm the entire show over this.

I'd actually applaud them if they changed nothing at all, but maybe that would impact their ratings, now that the end of the episode has been revealed (and quite out of context, in fact).

And honestly...why would a staff member possibly want to leak this, except out of blind rage or misplaced pride? Dumbest move ever.

The only reason I can see for someone wanting to leak this is because they got fired. But that doesn't make sense since apparently the person who leaked it got caught. Doesn't that mean he was still working at the company before being caught? I think the person is just a stupid fanboy who didn't think first before sacrificing his job for bragging rights.

So Rollo's ability is to actually stop time? Is that why he can get Lelouch's gun and stands behind him?

Britannia must be really dumb if one man like Lelouch can get away with that kind of stunt.

@Eradium: How is that typical of Sunrise? When can you recall this ever happening on purpose with them? What, do you think they want to sabotage the show by airing events out of sequence or something? Obviously it was a mishap by some disgruntled employee. Most likely nothing get's changed. For one thing it's too late to really go back and change things and for another it would muck up the story progression.

That would make no sense. Geasses all have to do with people's minds. His geass is probably more akin to Dominique the Cyclops' from Trigun.

@Tekkaman: Fired or not, if someone signed a confidentiality clause in it's contract - which is probably the case here - that person can't leak out these things.

As for the episode itself, they may simply shuffle the order in which the scenes appear - like putting the end at the start of the episode and go back to the start of it with a "flashback" scene. However, with the way the last episode ended, maybe it was probably already the case so they need to shuffle all of the scenes :)

I hope that they don't change it. This looks rediculously awesome but, yes, the moron who leaked this out is in deep trouble.

NOOOOOOoooo!! not that I think there'd be any BUT if there's any, Sunrise is on my death list if they cut it down.

wtf!!? Now i can't watch CG because of some stupid idiot from the staff?!?! WAAAAAAAAH!!!!

April 16, 2008 | Skarpile wrote:

How could someone actually leak this episode?! That person is such an idiot. He ruined what I have been waiting for! I can't believe a staff member would actually do that. Geez.

I bet Sunrise fired him because of this leaked info, that is if he wasn't fired already since before he leaked this one.

Reported on ANN:

The official Japanese website for the Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 anime series has announced that human error caused Tuesday's online leak of the fourth and final part of episode 3, which will not officially air until this Sunday in Japan. The leak of the last five minutes and 51 seconds occurred around 5:00 p.m. JST on various Internet video-sharing websites. According to the Code Geass Production Committee's investigation, Bandai Channel (the network service responsible for posting the entire program onto the Internet) was testing a system that prevents unauthorized posts of video when it accidentally uploaded the video onto the Internet early.

The production committee apologized to those who have been waiting to enjoy the official broadcast and promised to take steps to avoid having this happen a second time. The third episode will air on Sunday, April 20 at 5:00 p.m. JST as scheduled.

Great news that everything back to normal... =)

Are you kidding me? You should understand this fact:

Do not get angry... Few have the strength to risk death for the pride and respect that humans deserve. Because you do not need pride or respect just to stay alive…

I'm glad Lelouch is one of those few who are willing to fight for what they believe in instead of bowing down.

This is what Suzaku is: Humans are weak against terrorism and violence, and under such control their only desire is to survive no matter what. They lose all pride and respect.

In fact people use each other everyday, husbands use their wives for pleasure, wives use their husbands for livelihood, parents to their children, children to their parents, friends to friends. The only difference is how they use each other and the intensity of usage.

All right!!!! Episode three will still be aired as scheduled!!!!
Anyway, i hope they won't do it again.....

...Lelouch's purpose of his rebellion was to find his mother's killers and build a peaceful world for his sister, Nunnally....

..but after what had happened to him a year ago, Lelouch's focus is to find his sister, find the one who gave the emperor the geass and of course, still find his mother's assailants.....

...for Suzaku, he's not really aware about the empire he served...He said he'll change the empire from within....
...But how is he going to do that? Will he also try to change the ideology of the Britannian Empire which is SOCIAL DARWINISM? Go to wikipedia if you want to find out....

...I mean, Social darwinism is kind of the same as Nazism...."Survival of the fittest"....Those who are strong and with power deserve to live and those who are weak need to be eliminated....like what the emperor said....

....anyway, for those guys who don't understand why most fans hate Suzaku, you need watch the series from season one again...

dear Garten

I always enjoy your awsome reviews.

Why you don't watching Kure-nai ?
It's not famous, but directed by Kō Matsuo (Rozen maiden). Thanks to the pre-scoring recording, animation and voice acting is really fantastic.

There are 2 episodes now.Although the first episode is a bit confusing, at ep2, you will be convinced that there is something very special.

Thank you very much.
