First thing first, am I the only one who thinks that the song that plays when Lelouch goes into meltdown mode on poor Rolo sounds like Koiuta? Yeah, I know it's completely inappropriate and all since Nunnally is supposed to be his sister but considering Lelouch's siscon tendency, it kind of fits. Plus, the lyrics pretty much describe the kind of emotion that Lelouch must be feeling right now. Of course, the song could also be a representative of Lelouch/Rolo relationship although if that's the case, I think some people will go "Oh Geass No". Seriously though, it's probably just something that the composer decides to rip off of Koiuta. After looking at some of the CD adverts, I think the title is either one of these ones: Innocent Days, Alone, Masquerade, or Stories. These titles will be in a Geass' side-CD called Angel Feather Voice. The songs are performed by Hitomi. (please see comments) Anyway, I'm really enjoying this episode for some reason. Maybe it's because there's a sense that the story is winding down and there's a clear direction of where this series might go.

One of the Knight of Rounds asks Charles if it's okay for them to stay at Kaminejima considering there's a recent explosion in the Tokyo settlement. Charles is affirmative, telling the girl to leave things to Schneizel. Meanwhile, the army estimates that the death toll has reached 10 millions while the injured reached 25 millions. Nina is shocked upon seeing the result. Well, what the hell did she expect to happen? She must be one of those people who imagines how cool it'd be to fire gun or to blow things up but when the actual thing happened, they are shocked and can't believe that people are dead. Well, d'oh! Meanwhile, Suzaku finally realizes what he's done and wonders if he's the one who did it. No, it was your fairy godmother, Suzaku. Gino wonders if the school is okay and realizes that this is no longer war. Again, another moron who thinks they can start a war and there'll be no casualties. As for Zero, he's now on the verge of total insanity and orders Toudou to descend to Tokyo settlement and look for Nunnally. Toudou tries to point out that they have many casualties including Asahina but who cares about them when Lelouch wants his sister? Suffice to say, Toudou is shocked to see this side of Zero: the siscon side. Dead comrades? Who cares about them? What about my sister?

Meanwhile, Cornelia is about to run away when she is stopped by Diethard and a bunch of henchmen. Diethard is surprised because he thinks it was Villetta who ran away so he wonders if Cornelia is Zero's prisoner and why Zero didn't trust him more with this. Anyway, Diethard is in for more shock when an envoy carrying Schenizel comes to their warship with only small numbers of soldiers accompanying him. Meanwhile, Lelouch is still going on and on about looking for Nunnally, a sentiment that Toudou doesn't share because he'd rather that they retreat to Makuhari. Before Lelouch can spread his insanity, Jeremiah and Rolo manage to stop him with their frames and put him in a tight jacket. Okay, so the last one wasn't true but they should. Meanwhile, Li is not happy when he finds out that there's a one-hour ceasefire. Chang Lin tells the guy that while they haven't find the true motive, there doesn't seem to be any hostile intention from Britannia. Meanwhile, Rolo has carried a dispirited Lelouch back to his room and tries to cheer him up by saying "Hey, I'm still here, your fake brother". Lelouch completely snaps when he sees the cellphone strap that Rolo takes from Nunnally. He calls Rolo a fake and orders the poor sap to get out of the room. He even admits that he hates Rolo and have tried to kill him repeatedly. :o

Back in crazy scientist lab, Nina tells Lloyd that in the end, she didn't understand the kind of damage that her creation could bring. Wow, just wow. There's no end to her stupidity. I just hope that in real-life, when scientist for some God-knows-what-reason decides to create a bomb, they actually figure out the kind of damage it can bring. Lloyd tells Nina that she must figure out whether she should throw away science and keep her heart, or throw away her heart and sacrifice herself for science. *face palm* Obviously he too doesn't realize that there are science which benefits living being. Being a scientist doesn't mean that one has to throw away one's heart. Nina wonders about Lloyd's choice but Lloyd admits that he's already broken right from the start. Meanwhile, Toudou, Chiba, Diethard, and Laksharta try to contact Zero but can't reach him. Diethard concludes that the meeting with Schneizel will have to take place without Zero. Laksharta tries to point out that Zero is their leader and that it's in bad taste to go on without him but Toudou remembers what Asahina said about Zero ordered the slaughter of everyone including a young girl during his uninformed mission. Chiba is more interested in finding out why Diethard didn't capture Schneizel, who's their enemy.

In his defense, Diethard tells her that inside his personal plane, Schneizel carries the FREIJA warhead, the same warhead that caused destruction to Tokyo settlement. Anyway, since Laksharta decides to pass on the chance to see Schneizel, Toudou decides that he, Chiba, and Diethard will see Schneizel. At the same time, Jeremiah is busy looking for Nunnally in Tokyo settlement when he spots a bewildered Suzaku below. In the end, Toudou, Diethard, and Chiba go to meet Schneizel. Tamaki also insists on tagging along as Ougi's replacement. Diethard protests his involvement but Schneizel is kissing Tamaki's ass by calling him Zero's longest serving comrade. Back to Jeremiah, as it turns out he only goes down to laugh at his and Suzaku's weird-ass relationship before telling the guy that he needs to look for Nunnally. WTF? Anyway, Suzaku looks like he's going to weep upon hearing Nunnally's name. While Britannia tells a group of people to identify if they need medical help, Rivalz is overjoyed when he finds out that Milly is alive. They laugh because they actually get to live. LOL. Oh wait, I wouldn't laugh if I were them. Who knows that they are spared so they can get killed in the 2nd to last episode. Back to Schneizel, he's in the middle of telling the Black Knights that he knows better than them.

OMG, Schneizel drops the bomb by telling the Black Knight that Zero is his and Cornelia's younger brother. Needless to say everyone is shocked when Schneizel reveals that Zero = Lelouch. Cornelia wonders why Diethard doesn't realize this considering that Lelouch gets information from Jeremiah and Villetta. Diethard tries to save the group by telling the Brits that they are not going to be confused by such BS. They don't care about Zero's pedigree only that they recognized the miracle that he brings. Schneizel points out what if the miracle is falsehood. OMG 2: Schneizel reveals that Zero has special ability - geass, the ability to influence someone, likening it to powerful hypnotism. The most damning piece of evidence comes from Ougi, who confirms that as Schneizel and Cornelia said, Zero is a Britannian Prince and has been deceiving them. Betrayal-ton!! Diethard tries to point out that his origin is not important and even if he has geass, he's still trustworthy. Ougi points out that's only true if that power is only used on the enemy. Cornelia claims that Zero used Geass on Cornelia to slaughter the Japanese. Schneizel then offers a piece of evidence in the form of taped conversation between Lelouch and Suzaku where Suzaku asked Lelouch if he geassed Euphemia. Wow, what a mess Zero is in now.

Cornelia uses the chance to clear up Euphemia's name, telling the others that the slaughter was done by Zero and not her sister. Kanon then presents a list of people that Zero has geassed so far including Shirley, Jeremiah, and that Chinese Eunuch. Villetta also testifies as one of the people who have been geassed by Lelouch. Schneizel decides to embellish the truth by saying that there's no telling if they have been geassed as well or not. Kanon also tells them that they gave prior warnings before launching the warhead but Zero obviously didn't pass them on. OMG, this is really looking like a trainwreck for Lelouch. Everyone feels really betrayed by Zero at this point so Ougi makes an offer, asking them to return Japan. Meanwhile, C.C tries to ask Lelouch where he hurts because she'll apply band-aid. LOL. Lelouch tells him it's a place where a hand can't reach. Well, we can arrange some fatalities to do that. Kallen interrupts their talk by telling Lelouch that Ougi wants to see him in warehouse no.4. She's also in time to ask Lelouch to remove his clothes, causing Kallen to wonder if something kinky is going on here. Lelouch explains that C.C has lost her memory due to his mistake. Therefore, the C.C that Kallen knows is no longer here. Nevertheless, Kallen is shocked to hear this.

In the lift, Kallen thinks of the ramification of Zero losing not only Nunnally but also C.C. She tries to cheer Lelouch by telling him that she met Nunnally. When they get to the warehouse, however, they are surrounded by all Black Knights and a spotlight is aimed at Zero. They tell him that they know his identity and his geass. Kallen asks them if this is their thanks to Zero and tries to protect him. However, she also wants to know what she is to him. Lelouch, however, spots Schneizel and Kanon in the corner so he decides to put on his best villain costume and laugh at her. He tells Kallen that she's just a (chess) piece and the whole thing was just a game. Kallen starts to cry and bids goodbye to Lelouch but as she walks away from him, she can hear him asking her to live on. All of a sudden, Rolo drops down with a frame. Kallen also tries to stop the other Black Knights without much success but Rolo already uses his geass on everyone and takes Lelouch away to safety. Anya is ordered to run after the guy using Modred but Rolo keeps using his geass to run away from her. Lelouch eventually manages to climb to the cockpit and warns Rolo that if he keeps using his geass, his heart won't be able to take it. As soon as he said this, they are surrounded by Britannian armies but Rolo refuses to give up and uses his geass again.

As Rolo uses his geass and destroys the enemy, he tells Lelouch that he's always someone's tool. He knows that he probably was used by Lelouch but he believes those times he spent with Lelouch were real. As he clutches his heart, Rolo tells Lelouch that he's not a tool but a human since this is his will. Thanks to Rolo's effort, he manages to take Lelouch away to safety. When Lelouch asks Rolo why he helped him, Rolo tells him it's because Lelouch was lying. He doesn't believe that Lelouch was trying to kill him or hate him. Because he feels sorry for Rolo, Lelouch pretends that he didn't have those feelings and congratulates Rolo for being perceptive. Rolo dies after he tells Lelouch that he understands his brother. Lelouch can't help but smile bitterly, admitting that Rolo's brother aka himself is a liar. In the aftermath, Britannia and Black Knights can't find Lelouch's whereabouts and have to send ground troops. Meanwhile, Lelouch realises that he's lost everything: Nunnally, Rolo, Shirley, and the Black Knights, feeling that this is his punishment. However, he thanks Rolo for saving his life because he still has things to accomplish. Meanwhile, the Emperor is hitting batshit insane and intends on using a machine called Ragnarok to destroy the old world and create a new one. The episode ends with Lelouch intending on dragging his father all the way to his hell.

Impression

Zero? THIS? is rock bottom. Throughout the whole episode I can't help but cringing because I actually feel sorry for the guy. Having said that, there's nowhere to go but up from here on. Zero has lost everything from Nunnally, his friendship with Suzaku, and his power over the Black Knight. I think I've said it before but I'll say it again anyway: the most dangerous men are those who have nothing else to lose. Right now, Lelouch fits that description. If he intends on dragging his father to hell, then I'm sure he can do it now that he no longer has a care in the world and thinks that he has nothing to lose. Having said that, the truth is he still has two things to lose: C.C and Kallen. Even after what happened, these two still like him and I think will stay by his side no matter what. As for Rolo, I don't think what he did for Lelouch in this episode makes up for what he did to Shirley. At the end of the day, I still think he's batshit insane. However, at least he's through and through loyal to Lelouch right through the end. Even Lelouch acknowledges Rolo's effort at the end. What's more important here is Lelouch's reaction. Instad of laughing at Rolo's death, he was actually sorrowful about it. No matter what happened, Rolo did die for his sake and he appreciated the gesture of kindness from his fake brother.

Speaking of another rock bottom, we also have Suzaku and Nina. I actually have bigger problem with these two than I do with Rolo but if Rolo gets to have his brave moment, then I assume these two will also get redeemed somehow. Although I'm actually not that keen to see Nina being redeemed unless it involves her melting while trying to protect Milly and Rivalz. Speaking of those two, they certainly have been lucky so far and I wonder how long their luck will run. It's probably a good idea on their part to go away somewhere far from Japan. As for Schneizel's so-called 'revelations', I don't think it's all that bad. I mean, obviously there are things that Lelouch didn't even bother to explain like the fact that his geass eye can't be turned off and that's the reason why he accidentally geassed Euphemia. I think the only real stain in Lelouch's record was his slaughter of the cult's homebase. He had no valid reason for ordering that execution considering the majority of the people within are innocents. Anyway, it'll be interesting to see what will happen in the next few episodes. The preview is especially interesting with Gino looking like he's under arrest for something. And will Suzaku goes insane now that he's just killed most of Japan? Also, Rolo's emotional death in this episode makes me think that Nunnally is still alive and it's likely that she will regain her eyesight when we see her again.

I just loved this Episode.
It finallys get really crazy.

But somehow Lelouch is naive, did he really think that the Black Knights would never found out who he really is?

So it seems like Japan will be liberated if the Black Knights get her hands on Zero, but i think if this would happen (what wont be), Schneizel would just take it back ^^

Nina is naive too, if you build something so powerful you should now what could happen, and besiedes that she killes Japanese, so why does she bother?

I wonder what Jeremiah will do. He wants to help Lelouch, but he wouldn't go against the Emperor, so he ist useless too.

I really want to know what Lelouch intends to do now and what the Emperor ist up to.

It was definitely a great episode. As far as the rest of the series goes, it going to be quite a roller coaster ride.

Speaking of which, it would appear that all those leaked spoilers came true. Funny thing is, now at episode 19 seems to be a new wave of them floating around regarding the end of the series. I dunno how true they are though. A lot of the old leaked ones seemed fake / farfetched to me, but came true.

Anyway, going to post them in a spoiler. So don't read them if you want the surprise. I don't know how legit they are, at least not yet. Have to see how the series places out.

☆ Nunally and Sayoko were saved from the blast by Charles. Saving Nunally was intentional, Sayoko just happened to be there.

☆ Suzaku goes insane after he realizes what he has done. He prepares a strike against Britannia with the Lancelot and eliminates many of the lesser-important Knights. He is stopped by a mysterious Knightmare who identifies themselves as Knight of Zero. He is then captured and brought to Charles.

☆ Anya confronts Jeremiah and says that she believes she is under the influence of a Geass. Jeremiah takes her to Lelouch who confines her and then permits Jeremiah to use his Geass Canceler. It is then revealed that Anya is Lelouch’s true sister, and not Nunally. Lelouch does not believe it, but Jeremiah attempts to focus on Charles’ type of Geass within Lelouch’s mind, and finds it deeply hidden. His true past memories have no knowledge of Nunally.

☆ Nunally is the Knight of Zero, a special-ops Knight. She was (willingly) under Charles’ Geass to help advance his plans. She also has a Geass, identical to the one in the Nightmare of Nunally manga.

☆ The Black Knights initially betray Lelouch, after they see him going insane after the “death” of Nunally. After it is revealed that they are all key pawns in Charles’ plans, they agree to fight alongside Lelouch again

☆ Every major character, aside from Charles and Nunally, ally with Lulu to take down Britannia. They willingly accept Geass from Lulu, to help him launch a sneak attack against Charles, which ends up in failure, and the death of C.C. at the hands of Nunally.

☆ Before her death, C.C.’s inner soul speaks to Lulu with the mentality of her previous self. She encourages Lulu to continue on, and grants him her Code (immortality) and through a loophole, allows him to retain his Geass.

☆ Lelouch launches an immediate second attack on Britannia, and begins to be defeated again. However, his Geass overloads, and the effects of his Geass spread across the entire planet, affecting everyone he has never Geassed, telling them to “Destroy Britannia” - the world begins a full frontal assault on Charles and Nunally.

☆ Charles and Nunally’s primary goal is to “kill the gods”, by using a powerful cannon known as Loginus, to break through the dimensional barrier separating the two realms of life and afterlife. The Loginus is powered by human souls, and the power of Geass is able to amplify the charge for each soul. Those who die by the power of Geass, only further Charles’ plan.

☆ By killing the gods, Charles will be able to reform the world in a way that he sees fit. His vision of a new world? A world where no one has to suffer, and he can keep Nunally safe and happy, the same dream Lelouch had.

☆ The climax of the series ends with a battle between Lelouch, Anya, Suzaku and Kallen VS Charles and Nunally. Anya kills Nunally (with Suzaku and Kallen’s aid) and Lelouch forces Charles into the ray of the Loginus, utterly destroying him.

☆ After the series, Lelouch shuts himself off from the world, so he can no longer hurt anyone or see anyone be hurt. Suzaku, Anya and Kallen help reform the new world.

When I was watching this episode, various emotions rushed through my body. Given the situation, I am still on Lelouch's side. Of course, there are some poorly made decisions he made throughout his reign as Zero (The CEO of Black Knights). There is one thing I do admire about him...he refuses to give in. This is not being stubborn because who is to say that Britannia is right for what they have done?

Ougi disgusts me. Chigusa...give me a fuckin break. I might as well call myself Zero and be delusional. There is a problem with the condition he proposed to Schinizel and Cornelia. Britannia is not stupid to give into their demands...no matter what. Hasn't Ougi learned anything from his battles against the empire?

Lelouch did the right thing when he talked to Suzaku at the shrine. He did not make any excuses on Euphemia's massacre and death with the geass going AWOL. He owned up like a man and told the blame

But somehow Lelouch is naive, did he really think that the Black Knights would never found out who he really is?

Naive is the wrong word. Poor planning is a better way to explain the events that has occurred. Let this be a lesson to everyone...anything you plan does not always turn out the way it's suppose to be. This is why we have contingency plans.

Nina is naive too, if you build something so powerful you should now what could happen, and besiedes that she killes Japanese, so why does she bother??

Her rage got the best of her. She couldn't control her emotions every time she sees or hears the name, Zero. Nina's emotions made her so blind that she forgot the difference between right and wrong. However, she is still a racist since she detested the Eleven even before Zero's existence. Another lesson to be learn is to never let your emotions control you. I trained myself to never let that happen...again.

As for Rolo, his ambition is no different than Lelouch's. His desire wanting to be human was very strong. Is it wrong to eliminate obstacles that are in your way? Yes, you can call him selfish or even ignorant. Desire turns into greed when it benefits no one. Sadly, that's how it turned out for Rolo.

Garten, I can't believe you miss this. If we are to believe that Britannia is a symbolism of the United States, Don't you think you should have mention the importance of FLEIA?

The bombing in FLEIA is actually a symbolism of the atomic bombing in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Think about it. The anniversary of the bombing was August 6th. The FLEIA bombing was shown in last week's episode (August 10th). I am positive the director penned the bombing scenario in the screenplay to show how devastating weapons of mass destruction can be. It brings more than just physical destruction...but mental as well.

There are plenty of episodes left. I am not going to get started with Suzaku because he barely said anything in this episode. We'll see how he turns out next week.

Uh...no. Hitomi, one of the composers, is releasing an album of her own works from Geass and other series (ex. Last Exile, GunxSword, etc.), called "Angel Feather Voice." Innocent Days, Alone, Masquerade, and Stories were all inserts from the first series played in episode 23 (Euphie's death), episode 21 (the school festival), episode 14 (the Shirley/Lelouch scene where he wipes her memories), and episode 25 (during the battle between Jeremiah and C.C.). Don't ask how I remembered all that.

The insert is probably called "Lullaby of M" which is one of the tracks listed on the first R2 OST.

Next episode should be interesting. Considering that Xingke is the Commander in Chief of the OotBK, I doubt that he'll be very happy that they made such a decision without his consent. Not to mention the UFN probably won't be too keen on the OotBK being chummy with Britannia.

The OotBK are the UFN's military, they can't be making deals with the enemy on their own volition. They had to get support from the council before they could even start the war for Japan, I'd imagine that a deal of this magnitude should have required just as much.

On the spoilers:

I'd wager most, if not all, of those spoilers are true. All of the ones posted by Jason at Derailed by Darry came true.

Concerning Anya, there've been mutterings about how Anya looks so similar to Marianne. Couple that with the fact that Anya had reactions when fighting both C.C. and Lelouch.

With Nunnally and her being Charles' adjunct, I think there've been hints all along. How was it that she became Governor General so easily? She's also never made a concerted effort to find Lelouch - at least no where near that of the amount Lelouch has done; you'd think she'd like to be reunited with him as soon as possible, too. Yet, whenever she's talked about him with Suzaku, it's only been an aloof "Where is he?" and "Are you lying to me, Suzaku?" tone.

Finally, about Charles saving Nunnally and Sayako: that'd be rich irony. Omni at Random Curiosity has been holding thread of Nunnally being alive on the account of her being with Sayako the SP, when in fact Sayako who's saved on the account of being with Nunnally the Knight.

@ Edward

I posted all the old spoilers that I read in a post on YouTube along with those I posted here.

I am inclined to believe the new ones too because Code Geass doesn't seem like the type of anime to not give a conclusive death. When Orange-kun was "killed" in season 1 finale, or so we thought until he returned. When someone dies in this show, you know they are dead.

I am inclined to believe that most if not all of them are true after seeing all the old ones come to past. And considering what has been revealed thus far in terms of the story, seems like all of those events are possible to me.

This is from Village Idiot @ Animesuki but it needs to be reposted here because its LOL-worthy and sums up my thoughts on the idiocy of the Black Knights:

OotBKs: Screw Zero! Who needs him anyways? We have Xingke, Zero's strategic equal!

Xingke: Screw you guys, not only did you make a peace treaty on your own without even discussing it with the Supreme Council, but you expect me to stick around sitting on my ass while Britannia attacks not just the UoNs, but my homeland?! *leaves along with all Chinese personel*

OotBKs: ...Well at least we've got our advanced technology!

Lakashta: Well, actually you see, I want to free my homeland and if you guys aren't going to fight Britannia (and actually believe they'll respect the treaty) I'm going to take my toys to someone whom will. *all Indian personel & Knightmares leaves*

OotBKs: ...Well at least we've got our allies in the Union of Nations! Come help defend our freed Japan!

UoN Supreme Council: WTF do you think you're doing?! Staging a mutiny on your leader, and making a peace treaty without even consulting us?! What do you mean he's trying to take over the world using the UoNs? The governing body are all a senate with no central leader! We can't trust you anymore and you're of no use to us now that you won't fight Britannia. *leaves and pulls out all funding*

OotBKs: ...Well at least we've got our star ace along with her h4x Knightmare!

Kallen: Lelouch was lying! He does care about me! And now that damn witch reverted to a mind of a child, his little sister and wannabe girlfriend's out of the way, the conditions for victory have all been aligned! He's all mine! All mine! *takes C.C. & Gurrenh4x with her and leaves*

OotBKs: ....Wtf do we do now?

Tamaki: Don't worry, you have me!

OotBKs: Zero! We need Zero!

I also don't think C.C.'s story is necessarily over, it's too soon to tell. It could be, it could not.

Finally, I think that next week's episode should serve as even more evidence that several things in the "spoilers" here are false. Heck, they even contradict official information from the magazines, if you try to compare them.

August 18, 2008 | Ultimaknight wrote:

@ Camario

I never said those spoilers were legit. In fact, I believe I said that I don't know how legit it is. You say there are contradictions in it, but I still believe that certain events in the series could support every one of those things I posted happening.

That's the thing about spoilers of things not yet released. Its just a list of possible things that could happen.

But listen, I'm not going to argue with anyone about spoilers. Unless you worked on the series, you won't know what's going to happened. And I certainly didn't work on it. There is a few episodes left, let's see how it plays out.

THIS EPISODE IS TOTAL EPIC WIN. LOVE IT.
Now I just wish for C.C's story to kinda give us something. You know... for the fans. :D

Lolz @ metatrons_220's post.

Hopefully we get all loose ends tied up. It's interesting that they still revert back to side characters such as Rivalz and Milly. Nunnally deserves some kind of fucking ending srsly. I mean up until since the first season was all fighting for her. I don't want pussy Suzaku to just laugh over her grave. Come on, give us like a mindset of how a conversation would've gone had Lelouch and Nunnally finally met again under the circumstances that Lelouch won. Plz? Haha, thats all of it from me.

Absolutely loving how this is ending.

This episode simply shows that the Japanese people who run Black Knights are a bunch of selfish and stupid people. First, they forgot the UN whatever treaty in the hope that Britannia will return their country. I mean who cares about the other country as long as Japan is free, right? But then in their selfishness they forget that the likelihood that Britannia is going to return their colony is zero to none. They'll probably take it back as soon as they return the country to Japan.

whoa, this episode is like DEATH NOTE!!!!!!

Schneizel is acting like Near

Rolo acting like Mikami (in the anime, not the manga)

Lelouch is acting like Light....

I'm seriously thinking that Lelouch will end up like Light....I hope not....

And Suzaku, ugh........i hope he doesn't say "Let's put a smile on that face" or "Why so serious"...

For some reason, I feel kind of relieved after this episode. I don't know, there's just something about a person losing everything that makes things seem a bit easier in a way. Lelouch losing Nunnally, the order of the Black Knights, Rolo, Suzaku, etc., kind of spares him of the extra variables he used to think about and can just focus on one thing now. I wonder what will happen to C.C. and Kallen now though.

I'm wondering if Japan will get attacked or something in the next episode, because there's this one screen where all these arrows are targeted at the island from several points around the world. And why there are spears pointed at Gino? *blinks* I've kind of started to like him in these last few episodes so I'm actually feeling a bit concerned over him now.

Also, the correlation chart on the official website has updated with all the recent official deaths including Rolo's. It appears that the victims of FLEIA are no longer missing in action, but really and truly dead. Here is the link: http://www.geass.jp/correlative.html

And Nina... I wonder if she's going to harden her heart from now on, or spin completely out of control because of her guilt. I found it quite sad that she failed to realize bombs aren't exactly people-specific and do tend to hit ALL targeted things in sight, including fellow Britannians.

He killed Shirley and Nunnaly (almost), because of his selfish (sibling/lover) love for Lelouch.
Love can make someone become nuts right? LOL

This episode is my favourite R2 ep. so far. I can't decide which got me better between "Kallen, you have to live on" and "Yes, your brother is a big liar"

LELOU & ROLO!!! T___T

I think Ninas reaction is highly realistic for a weapons developer.
Those people are for some reason the most optimistic people on this earth, untill they see the effects of their creations.

I remember that the man that invented the machinegun did so in order to minimise casulties in war, but as we all know he ended up with world war 1.

After seeing this episode, I think it's better for Lelouch that Nunnally is dead. That way she won't ever know the bad things that he's done for her sake. Can you imagine how horrified she would have been if she finds out all of those stuffs about Lelouch?

That's wrong. The song is called "Boku wa Tori ni Naru" and the singer is Hitomi.

Haven't you seen the episode? No, she hasn't regained her memories and IMO, she's now a mortal.

Personally I think the OOtBK's betrayal was necessary to eliminate Rolo. Apart from that, it feels rather contrived.

This episode for me really highlighted the difference between Cornelia and Schneizel.

Cornelia is more of a military commander, she doesn't really have any real grasp of how politics should work, just how to win the battle.

Schneizel on the other hand is a politics man.

We don't know for sure if she isn't immortal anymore, because losing memory doesn't mean also losing immortality. When Lelouch lost his memorys he still had his geass, he just forgot about it. And you don't have to know that your immortal to be immortal., because youdont have to activate it.
But I really want to know just how she lost her memorys, I mean Charles had his geass no more. Maybe she just hurt her had.

I think it's pretty sure C.C. has lost her immortality. She doesn't have the Geass mark on her forehead anymore. And if I remember correctly, there's some caption in a magazine that confirms this. Something like "Losing her code, C.C.'s become normal girl" I want to know more on how and where the code's gone to.

P.S. - Does anyone notice that the last scene in the OP (where Lelouch puts back the contact lens) has changed from day time to night time? I wonder if it means anything particularly.

Maybe that means the series is coming to an end or something...or end of the world :p "night has fallen" or something in that direction.

@avocado sushi

I didn't even notice it till now ^_^ I remember during the first season there was a similar change during the opening where the USB-like key to Lancelot is spinning up in the air and then it lands in Suzaku's hand as he plugs it into the knightmare. I think it went from night to day in that one though... or maybe my memory's just failing me. I had been wondering about the change during the first season, but if what lividsama says is true then it must mean that during the first season, things were coming to light (Lelouch's identity revealed to a small number of people), and then maybe in this one it means coming to an end?

For how long who knows lol. I actually felt quite bad about Rolo seems like the order really messed him up and I kind felt like maybe it was a good thing they were destroyed? So they can't do that to other orphan children they find. Sad to be brought up thinking ur just a tool. I'm glad he convinced himself otherwise right before his dead. His dead actually had meaning. Now I'm wondering what is going to happen to C.C. now that Lelouch is gone? Will Kallen take care of her?
Man this show has so many twist...do u guys think it can be wrapped up in wats left of the season? Or will it need another?

August 20, 2008 | FlyTaggart wrote:

But if she lost her immortality than there would be no chance to give the code to Lelouch, so the Spoilers can't be really true.

I think it will end this season, but maybe there will be another season with other Geass characters.

@FlyTaggart :

Is there a spoiler speaks of Lelouch gainning immortality? O_O .... No, don't answer me..I don't really want to know.. But..come to think of it, it's even more possible now since the only way Lelouch can kill the Emperor is to steal the code from him and as far as I know, he is the only one left with Geass ability to do so!

ZOMG I'm so seeing this happening right now!!! Anyway, whether this will become true or not, assuming thing like this kinda decreases my worry that Lelouch is going to die at the end since he doesn't have a reason to live anymore... I love Lelouch and I want him to live no matter what....(but if he's going to lose sanity then let him die though)

August 20, 2008 | blewin wrote:

What an episode! I'm surprised to see Rolo redeemed. His scene is so emotional that I almost forgot he's Shirley's killer... as if what he did now could forgive him of the murder. Shows how good this anime's being executed to be able to move the audience to think positively of Rolo.

I wonder whether Suzaku and Lelouch will join forces once more. Seems like both of them are on the same boat, in terms of the degree of despair and the will to die. I hope the story doesn't end with everyone dying..
