Update: included better images.

The solution to the problem that Lelouch faced on last week's episode turns out to be a lot more interesting than what I had anticipated. It still surprises me to see Rolo helping Lelouch willingly like this. It looks like Lelouch's pep talk has really got into him because his turnover from enemy to ally is very quick. I do wonder about the rest of Lelouch's alliance though. Because at the end of the day, he's still a Britannian. What would happen if the rest of Black Knights find out about this? Sure, several members like Karen has accepted it so far but would others be happy as well if they know that their leader is actually a Britannian? And then there are 'uneasy' alliance that he's made with unwilling parties like Villetta or willing but possibly have other motives like Li and the Chinese Federation. Most importantly, there is C.C. IIRC, so far we still have no idea what she demands from Lelouch in exchange of giving him geass. What if at the end of the series, her request ends up being in conflict with Lelouch's interest? Will Lelouch honor her request or betray it?

Continuing from last week's episode, Lelouch looks astonished when he hears Nunnally's voice over the phone. He, however, can't say anything since Suzaku is behind him, trying to find out if he's regained his memory or not. Thankfully for Lelouch, Rolo manages to geass Suzaku, leaving Lelouch free to talk to Nunnaly. Rolo, however, warns Lelouch not to forget the time restriction and starts counting down by using his fingers. Because of this, Lelouch tells Nunnaly that today he has to pretend to be someone else and he needs her to play along with him. He, however, promises that he'll find her again for sure. Until then, he assures his sister that he loves her. As soon as he said this, Rolo ends his countdown, suggesting that Suzaku is going to regain his movement again. Lelouch quickly pretends to be someone else, telling Nunnaly that she probably gets the wrong person since he's just a student. This causes Suzaku to wonder if Lelouch really hasn't regained his memory. Thankfully for Lelouch, Nunnaly also plays along and apologizes for getting the wrong person. She then asks to talk to Suzaku so Lelouch returns the phone to the guy, who claims that he made a mistake in identifying the person.

Meanwhile in the California base of the Holy Britannian Empire, a new guy called Upson insists that he'd be the one who accompanies Governer-general Nunnaly despite Guilford insistence that Zero is dangerous. Speaking of Nunnaly, she is now wondering if Suzaku was lying and what actually happened between Lelouch and Suzaku. A few days later, the news announce that a new Governer-general will start his/her assignment in Area 11 starting tomorrow but the name of the Governer-general and his/her personal history are not known yet. Back in the Chinese Federation, a Eunuch asks Kaguya about the status of Area 11 but Kaguya herself doesn't know and want to find out. A girl referred to as Tenshi also wants to know about the situation outside her palace since she never gets to go out. The Eunuch assures Tenshi that Luoyang and this Forbidden City are also the center of the world. Kaguya offers to go outside and take a look herself since she's planning on returning home today. Tenshi looks upset to hear this since she just got herself a friend for the first time. Kaguya apologizes but claims that *her husband* is waiting. WHAT? WHAT? She's just a kid. Who is this animal?

Speaking of Lelouch, she's been informed by C.C that it seems their plan to obtain some goods from Niigata was successful but they can't go back to Chinese Federation's consulate general. When she sees Lelouch looking distracted, she asks him if he can fight the new Governer-general, his sister. Lelouch snaps and asks C.C if that was a joke. He's angry because just like before, Nunnaly becomes a political tool again. Lelouch swears that he'd ensure that Nunnaly won't become a chess piece. It's for this very reason he created the Black Knights and became Zero. He'd make a world where Nunnaly can be happy and for that he'll crush Britannia. Lelouch then asks C.C if V.V is in Britannia but C.C has no idea. However, V.V has been the Emperor's comrade since the beginning. Speaking of those two, they are now inside the shrine, saying how destroying a God was a promise they made. V.V asks the Emperor, whose name turns out to be Charles, why he didn't tell Nunnaly about Zero's true identity and about Geass. Charles thinks that's unnecessary, prompting V.V to say that he's still naive. Charles admits that might be true, addresing V.V as "Brother".

Meanwhile, Li informs the Knights of Round that the Black Knights have disappeared. He promises to share information with them, claiming that their country has no hostility towards Britannia. When Suzaku asks the guy about Zero, Li confirms that all of the Knightmare Frames have disappeared as well. Suzaku thinks this is strange and suddenly realizes that they might be gunning for Nunnaly. True enough, Zero and the Black Knight are now seen attacking the convoy that guards Nunnaly, who's on her way to Area 11. Zero tells the Black Knights that their mission is to make the new chief/Governer-general their prisoner of war. Because of this, no matter what happens, he wants them to ensure that they don't hurt the Governer-general. Britannia army tries to shoot the incoming Frames belonging to Black Knight but the Black Knights throw some kind of red powder to ruin the Britannian Army's visibility. Toudou and Karen then make their way on top of the vessel that carries Nunnaly. Although the front army is defeated by the Black Knights, Upson refuses to send more army since they are needed to protect the vessel which carries Nunnaly.

Unfortunately for Upson, the reinforcement from Tokyo Settlement will take about one hour before they arrive here. Meanwhile, Zero manages to infiltrate the vessel and orders the guard to kill themselves. Outside, the Black Knights are surprised when what they thought to be reinforcement from Tokyo suddenly arrives. Karen, however, quickly realizes that these are Knightmare Frames. Inside his frame, Guilford declares that a curtain will be taken down. Meanwhile not far from them, Lloyd looks smugly pleased with his mass-produced Frames. Cecil, however, isn't so sure about them passing the cost to Schneizel. Lloyd thinks it should be okay and Schneizel will notice it very soon, causing Cecil to realize that Lloyd hasn't even asked for a permission. Meanwhile, Karen is overwhelmed by the attack because unlike Britannia's Knightmare Frame, hers can't fly. At the same time, Lelouch is surprised because upon entering the room, he finds Nunnaly right away. His presence is immediately noted by security, who warns Nunnaly about this. Another guard who's been geassed, however, enter the surveillance room and shoots everyone inside, telling them not to disturb their meeting.

Nunnaly immediately recognizes the man approaching her as Zero. She wonders if he's going to kill her just like he killed Clovis and Euphie. However, she asks Zero if he can wait a little bit. She believes that he's wrong. Outside, Karen tries her best to intercept attack but Gino arrives with Tristan in plane mode. Asahina tries to attack Tristan with his frame but is shocked when Tristan morphed into a Knightmare Frame and sliced him. Meanwhile, the vessel becomes unstable because Anya has bombard the area with bombs. Gino tries to persuade her not to do that again despite the fact that she was just trying to protect him. Meanwhile, Upson is worried about being demoted and in his panic, tries to shoot Toudou's frame to prove himself. Toudou retaliates and attack the command center. Back to Nunnaly, she asks her older brother to give her courage to face Zero who is now in front of her. Zero responds to her previous statement by saying that the one who's wrong is Britannia. The Emperor considers strength as the only thing worth having so he wonders if Nunnaly endorses this belief. He also tells her that she's being used. This causes Nunnaly to wonder if Zero feels pity for a visually-impaired, wheel-chair bound girl like her. Nunnaly then tells Zero that she personally wished this (the position) herself.

Meanwhile, Toudou and Senba are in the middle of looking for Zero when Senba gets attacked by Gino. Senba decides to retaliate by blowing up his own frame. Back inside the building, Nunnaly tells Zero that she believes the world can be changed in a more peaceful way. Because of this, she intends on continuing what Euphie started: creating special administrative zone for Japan. She then invites Zero to participate in this. Meanwhile, Suzaku realizes that Zero has come to take Nunnaly but he still hasn't received report whether this is Zero or Lelouch. After launching Lancelot, he tells himself that he's here to save Nunnaly so he hopes Karen doesn't beg for forgiveness now. Because Karen tries to protect everyone else until they can escape, Guren Nishiki gets hit by Lancelot's attack. Karen tries to use the escape lever but it doesn't seem to work. Meanwhile, Chiba's location is spotted by Anya but before Anya can destroy her frame, Chiba manages to eject her cockpit. As for Karen, just as she thinks she's going to die, Laksharta appears in her monitor saying that she's in the best position. Laksharta then orders Black Knight members to launch a glide wing for Guren Nishiki.

After Karen obtains the glide wing, Laksharta orders the members to send the right arm enhancement for Guren Nishiki turning it into Guren Kashoushiki. With this new enhancement, Guren manages to fry Guilford's frame, forcing him to eject himself out of the frame. Because of this, Suzaku has to lead the other Frame pilots. He, however, warns the other not to be careless since this is the pilot who defeated Jeremiah. Anya tries to attack with her weapon but Karen manages to hop on top of Modred's head. In retaliation, Anya unleashes an upward attack towards Guren. Karen, however, is faster and fires a large shot at Modred and Tristan. Cecil immediately realizes that Guren's range of attack is now wider. Modred and Tristan are suffering from damage and therefore can't move. Anya wonders about the frame but Gino thinks it's the pilot that's the ace since she's seriously good. Suzaku is dumbfounded that once again he and Karen are in this situation again. Karen then unleashes a bunch of missiles towards Suzaku and proceeds to attack him with Guren's claw.

Cecil informs Suzaku that they find the location of the Governer-General. She is located in the Garden of the main bridge but it's about to collapse in 47 seconds. Because of this, Suzaku runs away from the battle, allowing Karen to get one hit on Lancelot. While Suzaku frantically attempts to find Nunnaly in the main bridge, Lelouch is in confusion. He wonders if he should just reveal his identity as Zero. However, if he takes her forcibly, he's afraid he'll distort Nunnaly's will. While Lelouch is uncertain, Lancelot manages to make its way toward the garden and swoops in towards Nunnaly. Lelouch tells Nunnaly to run but Nunnaly instead asks Suzaku to save her. Lelouch tries to say that Suzaku was the one who sold him off to the emperor but he ends up falling down as the area crumbles. As Suzaku takes Nunnaly in Lancelot's arm, he gives off a satisfied look. Thankfully for Zero, Guren Kashoushiki is not too far from him. The episode ends with Lelouch screaming Nunnaly's name, causing the girl to be startled because the voice sounds like Lelouch.

Highlights

* Rolo geassed Suzaku, allowing Lelouch to say what needs to be said to Nunnaly.
* Kaguya claims that she has to return to her husband. Who's this animal?
* Is Cheese-kun having a...uh...boner while being hugged by C.C?
* V.V asks the Emperor why he doesn't tell Nunnaly the man behind Zero and the truth about Geass but the Emperor thinks it's not necessary. Lucky Lelouch.
* The emperor called V.V "Nii-san" (Brother). Could this means that C.C is Lelouch's ancestor?
* Laksharta gives Guren Nishiki an upgrade. What a relief. I'm starting to worry that Karen might get overpowered by the Knights.
* It seems Nunnaly recognized Lelouch's voice when he screams towards the end.

Impression:

If Suzaku wants his plan to be successful, he should have tapped the phone conversation that Lelouch was having. Or at least brings a tape recorder to record every possible word that Lelouch might have said. But I guess he didn't anticipate Rolo to help Lelouch. The scene also suggests that the weakness of Rolo's geass he mentioned last week is actually the fact that his geass is limited to 5 seconds time limit. After that, the victim will be able to move again as usual. Thankfully Lelouch was able to convince Nunnaly to pretend that they are strangers. I am also glad that Nunnaly is clever and can guess that maybe something happened between Lelouch and Suzaku. Speaking of Lelouch, I can't be the only one who lament his decision to not just take Nunnaly first before doing anything else. I don't understand why he didnt' just come over right away to her side. I guess he doesn't want to scare her with the knowledge that he's Zero but in that case, he doesn't have to show his face. He should just take her first and explain the situation later. Thanks to his hesitation, Suzaku managed to swoop in and took Nunnaly with him, leaving the entire operation to be another failure.

Another interesting point here is the Emperor and V.V, who as C.C pointed out, has been comrades since the very beginning. I do wonder what their exact relationship could be? Charles called V.V "brother" but this could mean anything in this kind of story. I just don't think it makes sense that V.V doesn't look older than Charles if he's really Charles' older brother. Unless, of course, within the imperial family, there are certain individuals who possess Geass power and these individuals can't grow old after they discovered their power. If that's true, however, this means there's a possibility that C.C is also related to the royal family. At this point in time, however, the whole thing is too vague to make a guess. Moving along, I was very impressed by Karen and her determination to pilot Guren Nishiki well. I'm always afraid for her life because while Britannia keeps getting fresh supply of talented pilots and frames, Black Knights only have Guren Nishiki and Karen. Sure, there are other Frames as well but they are generally useless and underpowered in comparison to Lancelot, Modred, and Tristan. Thanks to Laksharta, however, Karen can now fight equally against Suzaku and the other Knights.

Miscellaneous thoughts

Someone suggested this last week: but what if the reason that Nunnaly always keep her eyes closed is not because she's traumatised? What if it's because the geass within her is awakened and she can't control it?

Quite the reverse. This suggests that people like CC and VV, even though they are immortal, don't need to be centuries old. Thus even though CC might be ancient, she doesn't HAVE to be older than her current flashbacks.

Essentially, we can now disregard the theory that the immortals are old gods. Some of them could be old, but it isn't a requirement.

Is that who she refers to as her 'husband'? I completely forgot that she wants Zero to be her husband. I thought there's some kind of pervert who married her despite the fact that she's just a kid.

I don't get this. Just because the Emperor call V.V "Brother", it doesn't necessarily means that V.V is his real brother. It could be that they are just brothers in oath.

Wouldn't Rolo's power be kind of useless in the battle since it can't affect mech, IIRC?

Interesting to see how Lelouch really CAN'T go against his sister, even though she's going to undercut him the same way Euphie would've - and he can't bring himself to do to her what he did to Euphie, even if it was by accident. Or rather, he CAN'T, as far as we know, since she's always got her eyes closed.

Of course, how Nunally will react if she finds out that her aide and Suzaku are sabotaging her efforts to make things better for the Elevens will be another story...

Rollo's Geass affects the pilots of the mechs (in the second episode, when the two Black Knights were sneaking up on the Vincent from behind a corner, he stopped time and went behind them), so I don't think Rollo's power would be useless after all. Unless I'm misunderstanding what you meant?

May 11, 2008 | Garten wrote:

Hmm, that would be really tragic. I think if that were to happen, Lelouch won't be able to continue leading the Black Knights. He'll be too consumed by grief. I mean look at what will happen on next week's episode:

He actually lost his will to be Zero just because Nunnaly is now the new Governer-General.

As to what C.C. wants in exchange for geass - to be made President/CEO of Pizza Hut?

That makes perfect sense. She's out to take over the world through their stomach. It's amusing how much she loves that Cheese-kun.

Anyhow I hope Nunnally discovers who Zero really is, however I found it difficult that she would agree with Lelouch. Despite him being her brother, she has her own beliefs - and she's against violence at all cost.

This is turning out to be a pretty interesting season. I am almost on the edge of my seat to found out what happens next.

Garten: I suspect a Black Knight may kill Nunally to gain favor, since taking down a Governor General would be a big boost to morale, and also given what the LAST girl who promised to make Area Eleven a 'special administrative region' did (Euphie) after people went to her in good faith... well, if this offer gets out, I expect that Nunally's reign will be short, along with her life.

That is, if Lelouch doesn't end up killing her after going over the deep end, Kaede-style.... or Suzaku does it, so Zero will take the blame for killing an innocent, crippled girl. That, and for the angst it would cause Lelouch.

Well, if he's anything like C.C., he probably is forever young, nevermind how old he actually looks. C.C.'s been around since one of the first World Wars, it looks like, and she's consistently kept her looks. Maybe V.V. is a warlock (or other equivalent), like C.C. is a witch.

"Someone suggested this last week: but what if the reason that Nunnaly always keep her eyes closed is not because she's traumatised? What if it's because the geass within her is awakened and she can't control it?"

I thought about this possibility as well. With how this show is going, I wouldn't be surprised if everyone in Lulu's branch of the family has a Geass (i.e. his father, him, his mother, and Nunnally -- the former two obviously).

It's just so evil and wrong that it's kind of horrifying that it is presented as a good idea.

Britannia has been shown, as a nation, to be nothing but evil. Even though there seem to be a few nice types in the bunch (Euphie, Nunally), as a whole they are still so evil that why would anyone trust them unless they just couldn't defeat them and had to?

However, with someone like Zero around, who seems like he could defeat Britannia if his friends and siblings didn't keep getting in the way, then there is really no reason to even give Britannia the benefit of the doubt.

I know they explained that Britannia conquered Japan to get the Sakuradite, but have they even mentioned why they're fighting the EU, is it just because they're so incredibly evil?

@KaleRylan :
I agree with you. Besides what concerns pride, I also think it's too unstable a peace. Britannia can change their mind and slaughter all Japanese if they want, whenever they want, and the Japanese won't even have time to argue. In my opinion, Zero's way is the ONLY way that can establish peace (by this, we assume that Zero won't be a tyranny in the end) Suzaku's way doesn't look good enough to me either. I thought he wanted to change Britannia as a whole from within when in fact he only wants to have control over Japan area. Has not it ever occured to him that even if he could be the Knight of One and take control over Japan, he is still under greater power, the evil Emperor, who can nullify all his efforts with only one command? Well, maybe I'm being too pessimistic but it can happen, can't it? :P

I'm personally getting a little disturbed by the increasing level of Mech shenanigans in Geass. I had my worries when I saw this season's opening, but this episode really just confirmed everything for me.

I liked the old series where most of the Mech combat was between pedestrian Sutherlands being orchestrated by Zero. And the punctuated battles between Karen and Suzaku were really well timed to be breaks from the normal battles.

Now it seems that we're going to get all Gundam Wing and make this about conflicts between massively overpowered Knightmares with no regard to the brilliant tactics of LeLouch

On a side note, the Yggdrasil Drive is the Lancelot's powersource, not the Guren's. Suzaku thought that his drive should have outperformed Karen's new equipment because it did before and they both got upgrades.

I think all he could do at this point is be a faithful pawn. After all, as a "naiive" person I'm sure he would like to believe suger coated lie, just like Euphie and Suzaku.

I can't help but be a little overwhelemd by Lulu's extent of "playing with fire". All he could do is gamble, but if he follow through with his "Using Rolo like dirtcloth".
I think it would be much wiser to extablish real bond with Rolo and add him to his power-force. As it's pointed out numorous times above, he's a little short handed with just Kallen and Todou to match all Rounds.

If Lulu wasn't as half emotion driven dispite his intellect, I'm sure he would've had more success, and Suzaku would be dead by now.

Kaguya: I think she means Lulu- I think it would be interesting if Lulu actually takes up the offer and use her as pawn to gain Japanese support. I think there's high probabilty of Suzaku being Nunally's official knight at this point, and I think it would be interesting if Zero revealed his identity but swears his royality to Japanese independence, and greater good using Kaguya as propaganda.

Emperor and V.V: I can't help but think Emperor is some sadistic curly who enjoys seeing his bloodkins in turmoil. I think there might be a possibility of V.V being his real "older brother", and Emperor might just be a world's largest brother complex like Lulu is the world's largest sister complex. ;;;

I'm glad to see there's some steps taken to reveal more about geass contractors. It's not much at the moment, but I do feel a bit hopeful- As the emperor and V.V said their goal is to "abolish Gods", wouldn't it be interesting to think C.C's goal is to "protect the Gods"? -Whichever "God" really means.

Nunally: I'm glad to see she's finally gained a personality. It's a huge progress from season one where she sat looking pretty playing nothing but the helpless a sister.

The similarities between her and Euphie were present from the beginning, (Helpless,No real power, well-intended and gentle, innocent and naiive) but from what she's said in this episode I doubt she'll switch side to Lulu right away even if he told the whole truth.

She has decided Zero's way is wrong, and unlike Lulu who did not have any remorse in killing Clovis and critically harming Cornelia, she seems to be much more attatched to the other part of the royal family.

I don't get why Lulu's so bitter even to other siblings in the royal family, since his biggest enemy appears as the emperor. This is quite the contrast to either Clovis or Cornelia who he HAS harmed, who obviously treasured him in some way.( Re: Painting of Marianne family, and Euphemia mentioning Cornelia being awfully sad)

At the last scene I don't think Nunally has heared Lulu screaming Nunally. I think she was just shown surprised to increased drama.

Suzaku:
As for Suzaku taking away Nunally-
I don't think he's just "using" her as a pawn for his game. I think it might be Nunally's own will to fulfil Euphie's will, and he's working with her because it goes with his virtues. I think this is entirely possible because Nunally said this was her decision.
At the end of the episode, Suzaku was not sure if Zero really is Lulu or not, as it backed to suspicision stage due Rolo, so I think it is natural for him to yank her away from Zero.
It;s only logical to think Zero-if not Lulu, will harm the new governer.

I see most people outraged by the actions of Suzaku, but I think it's completely understandable if you consider he still is a kid, and is a little short sighted.
Lulu is no better in my books because his intent isn't for the greater goal.

I don't agree with the idea of limited freedom.
It is noted numerous times above that once emperor said no, it'll fall apart. It is practically a joke.

Note how Suzaku treats his Ashford pals same as he did before. I think he is selectively creul to Lulu because he's killed Euphie, and in his shoes, betrayed his friendship by saying he still is a "friend"(re:s1 ep 23),been lying to him entire season 1, and that Lulu's method goes against his belief. The whole selling friend to emperor just shows he does not consider Lulu as a "friend" anymore, but just a mere "criminal"

Not that Lulu doesn't have anything to say because he has let Suzaku live numorous times just because he was his "friend"

I was hoping Suzaku's idea of "changing the world from within" meant more then just freeing Japan, but it seems at the moment he's more caught up with fulfilling Euphie's legacy.

Hnn, but it is interesting to see their personalities develop through out the turns in the series, though at this point I'm starting to get sick of both the main characters.

Ah, and I too, think it would be interesting if Nunally had Geass, and that theory is very probable. ^^

I don't get why people have such antagonism for Suzaku. Technically, the way he's trying to do things is way less dramatic than the way Lelouch is trying to do things. I mean, he kills, but he doesn't take obvious enjoyment in killing, and only when he has absolutely no choice.

Anyways, anyone noticed how the blonde Knight showed interest in Kallen? I think something's brewing there. It'd be really awesome if they get into a candestine love affair, haha.

Hmm, does anyone else get the feeling that Lelouch is going to no longer be Zero, even if only for one episode when looking at the preview after the credits?

As for Nunnally having Geass, that would have to be one powerful Geass in order for her to feign blindness.

This episode was great! After that long wait it was good to see how Lelouch got out of that little pickle, suprising to see Rolo helping. Good on you Rolo!
But I am feeling a bit sorry for him at the moment especialy when was Lelouch was chatting to Nunnaly, and you get to see a scene of Rolo all alone with his locket in his hand.
At the moment there is a lot of background information that needs to be filled. We don't know how Nunnally got out of Japan. Does she know anything about how her brother is doing? I mean in next weeks episode what is there to stop her from going back to Ashford Acaddemy to look for her brother? Apart from the fact that Lelouch told her that he has to pretend not to know her.
But what I really want to see more of is Lelouch and Suzaku in school! At the start of the episode Suzaku is pretty certain Lelouch hasn't got his memories back but later on he becomes uncertain again- the bit where he figures out that Kallen must have come back to the ship to rescue Zero. It should be tense but I doubt we would get to see much of this.

Just because the Emperor call V.V "Brother", it doesn't necessarily means that V.V is his real brother. It could be that they are just brothers in oath.

If he had called him "Aniki", alright, I'd give you that. But he called him "nii-san".

@* The emperor called V.V "Nii-san" (Brother). Could this means that C.C is Lelouch's ancestor?

Maybe u guys all think too much on this? C.C. did mentioned that the emperor and V.V. made their contract long time ago.

So this could only means that the emperor met V.V. when he is a small kid. That they starts their relationship as V.V. being the big brother and as time passes the emperor grows old while V.V. just stay the same...

May 14, 2008 | Orange wrote:

by the way, the contract between V.V. and the emperor is to murder god or something, although i don't really get what that mean...

that scene with jupiter as background, so the destruction of jupiter?

May 14, 2008 | maki wrote:

@Orange: Jupiter is the Roman equivalent of Zeus, the Greek God of Thunder and Lightning. and everytime, they show a geass situation, they always show Planet Jupiter.....It's possible that it has something to do with the Geass.....so yeah, V.V. and emperor will probably destroy Jupiter using the Sword of akasha because i don't know....Jupiter is one planet and million asteriods away from Earth....

@Nunnally having Geass

My guess is instead of Nunully having geass, she is geassed... this explained why the emperor said it is not necessary to tell her Zero = Lelouch...

Interesting to note that suzaku wouldn't be where he is now if not for Lulu.

i mean the only reason he has been going up the ranks is because of the conflicts created by Lulu and at the end lulu himself.

if Lulu hadn't started a rebellion i reckon Suzaku would still be a foot soldier (discriminated always) trying to chage things from the inside. (yea right).

if i was the enemy i don't think my enemy is going to make me a general no matter how loyal i am. there will always be that distrust.

But the point is that despite Suzaku hating violence...its technically violence it self that has allowed him to be one of the Knights of the round.

He wouldn't have even met euphie cause she only came after Clovis died right?

so yea
